Rockin' in Paradise was the theme for this year's BMC Club trip...and we did just that!
The event staff at BMC *really* knows how to throw a party! Remember the band Heart??? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GHDB29ZGt0A) Sorry, you'll be singing that for the rest of the day!
Well, BMC brought in Heart for a private concert on the lawn of the resort. It was outstanding! They sound even better than they did in the early 90's. I can't wait to see them when they come to The Woodlands Pavilion next month.
The concert was preceded by a Gala dinner which rocked the house too.
Tables were dressed appropriately in rock n roll style. Black leather covers and formal silver and crystal candleabras with red and white roses...
Yes, I even took a picture of the salad because it was pretty too!
Prior to beginning the concert, the grande finale of the dinner was the presenation of the dessert. The sweets were presented in true BMC fashion....each and every dessert was accompanied by its own tuxed waiter and entered the party area single file till a ring of glowing confections lined the front stage area. Beautiful.
The dessert itself was an artful creation, served atop a glowing bright red heart. (notice the cute chocolate guitar!)
That was just our Gala night....more to come...stay tuned.

Aloha! I'm back!
Whew...and am I beat! We got back last night from a week in Hawaii and I got to spend a well needed day smooching on my boys! That is the longest I have ever been away from them! For those that don't know, Jon's work sponsors a trip for some of the sales employees that qualify each year. This year was an outstanding trip to The Big Island of Hawaii. And, of course I took so many photos that I'll have to break up the posts into several!
Let's start with the beautiful skies of Hawaii. Oh, my gosh....the horizon is just endless and the sunsets on that endless horizon will make you want to spend each evening just sitting and watching each second as the sun touches the edge of the earth and disappears. It's more beautiful than a camera could possible capture....
Check back....more tomorrow...
