I have been away from the blog for so long!  With facebook around, blogging has taken a back seat for some time now.  Let's see if I can get back on track and start posting again!

This post features Ashley.  She picked out a few prom dresses for this girly session. We got an early start so we were able to capture great light that morning. We started with a few outdoors in the beautiful morning light, continued for some girly stuff in the studio and then just went outside in the alley behind the studio for a few in the mid-day sun.  Too much fun!

I have three boys and when they get to prom age, their girlfriends are probably not going to like me very much because I will be begging to go prom dress shopping with them!  Poor girls....I feel sorry for them already.

Baby Carson 9mo - Baby Portraits

This week we had the very handsome and very blond Mr. Carson in our studio for some lovely portraits. We especially loved him in that adorable plaid shirt against that deep brown background, very dapper!

Baby Mason - 1 Year old Photography

Baby Mason has turned one which means he was due for his 1 year old shoot. While it took a little coaxing to get Mason to turn on the thousand watt smile, once he did this session really came to life. Those bright beautiful eyes and that burnt orange hair work so well in these portraits.

Ms. Meghan - 2011 CyWoods Senior Portraits

Meghan and I had so much fun with her senior session! She had to educate me on OU signs. I tried to get her to do Hook Em instead, but no go. :o) I just love this new Peace background and her mom said that it fit her just perfectly!

Baby Logan - The Woodlands Newborn Photography

Baby Drake - Houston Baby Photographer

Baby Drake (aka Duck) finally got the chance to make it into the studio for his first portrait session. I have been anxiously awaiting to meet him! Drake is a sweet little chub that is all boy and I couldn't resist wanting to keep him for my own. Great to see you again Craig and Debbie! I hope you are enjoying the Harley portrait on the wall!

Baby Gavin - 1st Birthday Portraits The Woodlands

Baby Gavin is my nephew and he gave my sister and I a run for our money the day of the shoot. As with most one year olds that can already walk, both mom and I are breaking a sweat by the end of the session. It was so worth it for some of the memories that we were able to capture.
