My Boys - The Woodlands Child Photographer

I just loved the field from the post below, so I had to take my own kiddos out and give the location a try with the younger ones! They complained the entire time about the grass being itchy and pokey....and the bugs...and the bright sun....and who has to go first...and pretty much anything else they could think of....but, all in all we ended up with some great shots and I don't think I tortured them too terribly much. :o) I don't ever have the time to do 'real' shoots with my boy, so just indulge me and let me post TONS of pics even though I know this post is probably bogging your computer down right about now. :o)

Reynolds Twins - Multiples Photographer The Woodlands

The Reynolds twins and I had so much fun playing and laughing during our shoot. I just love all of my multiples clients....and, I usually gear up for a challenging shoot when photographing multiples. It's just usually a given. But these sweet ones were just angels during our portrait session and they didn't even make me chase them about even once. ;o)

Fellman Triplets - Woodlands Multiples Photographer, Houston

I always say, the more multiples there are the more well behaved they are! And, it's no exception with these triplets! They were extremely well behaved and we got lots of smiley shots....just none with all of them at the same time. :o) So, you'll be seeing more of this triplet set as we schedule another shoot in the near future! Can't wait to see you guys again!

Ms. Jennifer - Conroe Senior Portraits

Jennifer and I have been planning this shoot for months now. Both of our weekend schedules stay pretty busy and the rain just kept causing us problems too. We were starting to think that the ideas we had in our minds were just not meant to be. But, in the end, it was all worth the wait because the light that we were able to capture in the images just made the shots amazing. Jen loves photography too and she knows 'its all about the light'!

Ms. Sadie - First Birthday Portraits The Woodlands, TX

Ms. Sadie came to see me because she just got done celebrating her first birthday. She is such a big girl now and she gave her mom and I quite the work out chasing her about for a photo shoot. First birthday portraits are always so much fun for me to photograph.

Ms. Piper - Newborn Photographer The Woodlands, Houston

This is Ms. Piper. Isn't she the sweetest? She was just barely a week old when she got to make her debut in front of the camera (unless you count when she was in mommy's tummy). It's times like these when I get to photograph a brand new life that it makes me truly appreciate what I do. Most of the time, a visit with me is the first time the newborns get to venture away from the home other than for a doctor's check up. Not only am I the first place they visit, but I am also creating those precious first family memories that will be passed down for generations. Thanks to this family for allowing me into your lives!

For Mr. Luke's birthday, I had a special request to try and capture exactly what he loves to do as a three year old. Did you know sandy beaches exist right here in The Woodlands? I didn't. But, Luke invited me to his secret favorite spot where he loves to play in the sand. His second favorite spot is a lake not too far from his house. He loves to fish (he actually caught one while we were shooting!) and I had a great time watching him while capturing those memories for his mom and dad.

I always have so much fun with these kind of shoots! Just the girls...getting to be silly and having a little bit of fun while we shoot. I'm doing a bit of back-tracking this time with my blog posts so Mrs. Keys has already viewed her final images. I got an email from her this morning with....'WOW, I look like that?!?!' I love to hear those comments after my clients check out the images....it part of what makes me love my job!

I'm still here! :o)

I just wanted to pop in and let all of my loyal blog readers know that I'm still alive! I am busy with shoots and trying to get all of these session proofs wrapped up before I leave out at the beginning of May. I'll try to get my schedule back to a slower pace soon so I get back to doing sneak peeks because I know that you guys love them! Ta-ta for now...I'm back to the grindstone!

The 8th Annual McKay Foundation Golf Classic Charity Event

As you guys know, I am always happy to help out charities with donations for auctions and such. All of the charities that I donate to are without a doubt great causes, but this particular charity event that is coming up soon hits a little bit closer to home for me since I am a mom of three boys, and I am originally from Conroe. I can still to this day remember the newcasts of the events that led to the eventual creation of the McKay Foundation in memory of McKay Everett.

The McKay Foundation will be holding it's annual golf classic on April 18th at the Panorama Village Golf Club. I'm sure that the foundation would love more sponsors, golf teams and guests at the dinner! Dinner tickets are only $10 and there will be some great items there for bidding at the silent auction including a portrait package with Mindy Harmon Photography. Mr. Nate - Woodlands Children's Photographer, Houston

Meet Mr. Nate....remember him...because he is going to be famous someday! Not only does Nate have awesome red hair and gorgeous blue eyes, but he is ALL personality too! He told me non-stop animated stories from the time that he arrived to the appointment until he left. I have so many great shots of him that is was hard choosing what to blog.
