The sweet Mr. L...

Mr. L had the sweetest, softest, most perfect skin that I think I have seen on a baby in quite some time. It just made you want to kiss those soft little cheeks of his! Him giving us quite a few little 'presents' during our shoot was the only thing holding me back from stealing kisses for myself! Happy 1 month Birthday, Mr. L....and Happy Birthday to your mommy too!

A little trip to IKEA

Gosh...I love IKEA. A photographer friend and I took a little shopping trip there today to look for some fun new props. I came back with a chair that I can't wait to use! I want to take it out on location....maybe to Market Street or on The Waterway for some fun outdoor shots. I think it will look great in the studio too. K2 had to test it out for me after I got it put together!

Playing a little catch up....

I'm not so good with the blogging thing, LOL! Sometimes I remember....sometimes not....but, that's pretty much just me! So, let me try to do a little catching up. This is A and her daughter Ms. P! They came to see me at the beginning of January so I'm a little behind on blogging about the session. The last time Ms. P was in the studio, she had long pretty curls. Despite the self-given haircut, she is still cute as a button even without the long curls!

Ms. S was full of smiles!

As most of you know...I have 3 boys....and I NEED a baby girl fix every once in a while! A pink and brown pettiskirt and Ms. S in studio gave me just what I needed! (if only for a little while!) Here is Ms. S and her smiley blue-eyed self:

Who can resist a newborn baby girl like this?

Little Ms. M was just barely two weeks old and we know already that she's going to be a model one day! Sorry, Dad...no softball for her! She likes the frilly stuff better! Ms. M is loved to death by her big sisters too!

Maternity has to be one of my most favorite sessions to do. We had so much fun today with this shoot. And, A & C didn't whine a bit while I snapped TONS of photos!

So, how's this for a beautiful couple??!! If the baby is anywhere near as good looking as mom and dad, I will be in heaven when I get to photograph him!

I promised A that I would get some of her pregnancy photos up for her to see before her baby shower tomorrow. So, here ya go guys! I'll have your gallery up and ready for you to view early next week!

Gee...has it been since before Christmas??

Since I've posted a blog entry?? Time just gets away from me sometime! So, how about a little update? We had a great Christmas! How could Christmas not be great with 3 youngs boys and a huge family? We made a visit to my parents Christmas Even, then Jon's parents on Christmas....and pretty much stuffed ourselves with good food. But....after all of the gifts, we are now in complete toy overload at this point. LOL! It's not like we weren't before, but we really are now. We have toys in pretty much every room, closet and cabinet that had any free space at all. It's time to make a few visits to Good Will with all of the old stuff and make room for the new!

Right after Christmas, K3 took a spill down the stairs and landed on his elbow. After he fell, he was crying pretty hard but he quit quickly. He became very fussy that evening though and I just thought that it was from his cold that he had been fighting since Christmas Eve. But, by bedtime though, his elbow had swelled up and he couldn't hardly move it at all....it was hurting him pretty bad. We thought that it might be broke, so Jon took him to the ER. Fortunately, it was just a bad bruise and sprain. The hospital sent him home in a brace and sling just in case. Within a few days though, he was as good as new. I should post a pic of him in his brace....he can even make a sling look cute!

As the New Year approached, all three boys were pretty much sick with coughs and colds, so we decided that we would just make New Year's Eve a fun family night at home together. Sounds great, right?? Well...K2 started complaining about his ear hurting around 10:00 that night. Jon took a look and noticed a little something in his ear that wasn't supposed to be there! Gotta love 3 year olds! We tried to get it out and it was just too far in his ear. So....off for a 2nd trip to the ER in a week. As the clock struck midnight, Jon and I spent the last minute of 2007 on the phone together watching the countdown on the television.....him in the ER with K2 and me at home on the couch with K1 and K3. After all that, the ER couldn't even get the 'whatever it is' out of K2's ear. We had to make a trip to the ENT a couple days later to have it removed....and we're still not sure what the heck he put in his ear!

So, that was our holiday in a nutshell! I've got a couple of sessions to post shots of from last week....and then I have a maternity and newborn shoot this weekend. So, hopefully I'll be back to blog and show you guys some good stuff early next week when I get through proofing everything! Bye till then...

The S Family Christmas

While all of the family was in town to celebrate Christmas, they wanted to get a few shots of the family. I promised a few sneak peeks of the session before I break for the Christmas holidays. Yes, Jake....the peek a boo shots turned out great! ;o) I hope you guys have a great holiday and safe trip back!

My handsome guys....

We started out this session trying to get a good family photo of all of us, but after breaking a sweat trying to get kids to smile all while taking photos with a wireless remote, it just wasn't going to happen. :o( But, all in all, things turned out great because I still got some great photos of my handsome guys!

Great in red!

Poor little L has been sick in the hospital, so Christmas photos were postponed so that he could get well. From all of the smiles we got that day, it looks like L is healthy, happy and ready for Santa to come see him for the first time!

Fa la la la la....la la...la....la....

The K family came in for some last minute family portraits for Christmas cards. I think the cards turned out great (we got them in just in the nick of time) and we got some great family portraits for the walls too!

Baseball was today's session theme...

The S family lives and breathes baseball, so it was only right to incorporate baseball into the family session. We started out at the ORWALL baseball field, shot a few at Town Green park, then on to the studio for a few more....and the guys didn't even whine too much!

It's that time of year! Christmas photos!

Little D did want anything to do with my tickle toy during the shoot! But, despite him being scared to death of all of my fun little toys, we still managed to get some great photos.
