Bellies, bellies and more bellies!

One more maternity sneak peek for tonight then I'm off to catch some much needed zzzzzz's! You may recognize this lovely young lady from a few months back when she was in her first trimester of pregnancy. Well....we missed getting 2nd trimester shots....but, today we got to capture the beginning of the 3rd trimester.....and, look....she has a cute little belly now!

Beautiful maternity session...

Ms. Gianna chose to wear one of my lavender maternity wraps for a portion of her shoot....she not only looks great in lavender, but it's also her Grandma's favorite color and the color of the new baby's room too! Good choice Gianna! I had a great time with our shoot...hope you did too!

More beautiful bellies....

Shelley came to see me today...she's almost due with her 2nd little one. We had a great time trying on wrap after maternity wrap in pose after pose! Shelley...you are -not- going to be able to choose once you see all of the shots we took! Thanks for coming to see me!

Road trip yesterday...

A photographer friend and I made a little road trip to Baton Rouge yesterday for a photographer's workshop given by Tim Babin (VooDoo Daddy). Tim is an awesome senior photographer in Louisiana. We left way before daybreak, and returned back to Texas at almost midnight. Other than our buns hurting from sitting so long, we had such a good time....10 hours of non-stop photography chit-chat during the drive, and then a day full of an intense workshop too, our brains should be on complete overload. For my photographer friends that read this blog....if you ever have the opportunity to go to one of Tim's workshops.....please find a way to go! Tim a great instructor! I enjoyed every second of the workshop and came away with awesome information that should really help me with my business in 2009. I can't wait to implement all of the things that he taught...but unfortunately, that will have to wait till after the holiday rush! The only thing that would have made this road trip better is if I would have won the Larson gift certificate they were giving away, lol!

• Two 5x7's
• Twenty Four Flat 5x7 Holiday Greeting cards featuring your choice of photos from the session -or- Two 8x10's (View holiday cards here enter passcode: holiday2008)
• an online gallery for viewing and ordering additional prints and custom products

The portraits will be taken on a white, black or gray background. We have a variety of festive Christmas props if you wish use them, or the portraits can be kept simple for timeless memories.

A little fashion model...

Little Ms. S came to see me again for her four year old shots and shots with mommy too. Ms. S came to see me at Christmas time last year; and she has asked me to take her picture again everytime I have seen her since then. She was a more than willing model this time! Doesn't she look like she should be a model in a Gap ad in some of these shots?!!

Hats, Hats and More Newborn Hats!

As some of you well know, I have a little bit of a fixation with kid's hats! Well, when this mommy came to see me today with her newborn, I was more than ecstatic when she also pulled out a bag full of cute little hats! We went through hat after hat shooting them at about every angle imaginable....lots of fun! Warning: Cuteness overload in this post....

Urban engagement portraits

I've known this young man for over a decade now. He is family to one of my best friends, Lorie. I've watched him grow up from a crazy little boy to a handsome young man with a beautiful fiance that seems to be perfect for him. Thanks for letting me photograph your engagement session....congratulations you two!

Perfectly pretty in red....

Aren't these two little girls just gorgeous?!?! They came to see me on Friday for a round of family portraits for Christmas. Their dark hair red dresses just looked gorgeous on the white background.

I really had a great time photographing this session on Friday. You guys all know that pretty blonde hair, blue eyes and tu-tu's give me my girly fix that I need regularly!

Christmas portraits of two sweeties....

While doing a quick run through the portraits that we captured during this session yesterday, I tried and tried to narrow it down to just a few cute ones. Well...that wasn't possible! The mom of these two sweeties is going to have a very tough time choosing when she gets her proofs!

Family portrait season, oh yes!

The B family came to see me this week as a referral from my friend Lisa. Lisa has affectionately been giving the nickname 'My Photography Pimp'....because Lisa is my #1 referrer always talking me up to everyone (thank you Lisa). Six month cutie...

Ms. M came to see me first when she was just a tiny newborn. She has now grown into a beautiful little chunk of luv and she was full of smiles today. Mom and I had fun playing girly dress up with her!

What a little ham!

The cutest Batman ever! And, the easiest 2 year old to photograph ever! Sit here, stand here, show me your muscles, pretend you are flying....you name it....this cutie was happy to perform.

There is no way that you couldn't be smiling looking at these 3! They make me grin everytime I see these triplets....and, then to add precious puppy dog costumes to the mix...way too cute! (Grammy...you did a great job on those costumes!)

An aspiring model...

My job really does allow me to photograph some very beautiful people....it's part of the job that I love! This beautiful young lady came to me today for shots for her modeling portfolio and I had a great time photographing her. Thanks to her mom for traveling so far to come and see me! Good luck with the agency!!!

Another Cutie Patootie...

She took a bit of warming up, but after a while she became my best friend...shared her ice cream with me even! She pretended she didn't want to smile, but I think she gave me some of my favorite shots from the day.
